Nicholas "Nick" Moya Tuesday, March 14, 1939 - Thursday, June 15, 2017

Nicholas “Nick” Moya, Santa Maria, CA, passed away on June 15, 2017. Nick was born in Denver, Colorado on March 14, 1939. Nick grew up in California and moved to the Central Coast thirty-eight years ago.

Nick was self-employed as Truck Driver for 30 years. Nick loved the big Diesel Rigs. He was an active Moose Lodge Member for the past 5 years. He loved going to the Moose every day to see his friends there, he also enjoyed participating in all there functions. Nick was a huge Denver Bronco fan. He loved football and enjoyed football parties at the Moose Lodge. Nick loved eating Menudo. Anytime you ask him to go eat, he always wanted Menudo. Nick loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed family outings and especially barbeques. He loved telling stories from back in the day. He also loved watching his grandsons play basketball. He talked about them often to all his friends.

He was preceded in death by his Parents Victor Botello and Kathryn Hudson, his sister Mary Hatfield and his grandson Steve Melo. He is survived by his daughters, Janice Melo and Brenda Botello, his son, Lawrence V. Botello (Denise). He leaves behind eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service held at Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 1:00 pm.
